| About Alpha Sigma's "Beach Week" |

Each Spring, the Alpha Sigma chapter hosts its annual "Beach Week". The goal of the week long event is to raise money and awareness for people with mental and physical disabilities. The event has become a cornerstone of the Alpha Sigma chapter and is enjoyed by all participant, both within and outside of the brotherhood. Beach Week is a week long event that features various events throughout the week that are designed to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities. In 2010, Beach Week included the annual coins race, an empathy dinner, Ms. Pi Kapp, band parties with Az Izz and Dave Matthews Cover Band, and finally, the 10th annual Pi Kappa Phi Sorority Beach Volleyball Tournament.
